The quartzite Santa Cruz is strongly laminated. It is extracted from natural outcrops approximately 5 meters high. Block material has as yet not been encountered.

The age of this quartzite is Precambrian (+1 billion years). It is fine grained. The four distinct colors (white, pink, multicolor, red) are extracted separately in several quarries within the concession area of Orex.

The geological reserves are unlimited.
